Rheinmünster, Germany – ACM AIR CHARTER signed two aircraft management contracts for two new Boeing BBJ2 aircraft in Europe during the first half of 2014. With two aircraft in its fleet, ACM AIR CHARTER is now the largest operator of the BBJ2 type.
ACM is the world’s largest Boeing BBJ2 operator
The Boeing Business Jet 2 is a further development of the BBJ aircraft range. The BBJ2 is based on the 737-800 aircraft version and offers 25% more cabin volume compared to the BBJ1. With a range of 10,000 km, the aircraft is specifically designed for long-haul flights.
Flights from London to Rio de Janeiro and from the Maldives to Paris can therefore be operated non-stop.
The cabin interior, covering 1,004 m², includes an office and conference area, as well as a private section and a bedroom.
“It is the individual service that the ACM team provides in all areas of flight and ground operations, personnel management, training, handling and hangaring, as well as maintenance for aircraft owners. This convinces customers to entrust us with the management of their aircraft.”
says Thomas Minninger, Managing Director of ACM AIR CHARTER.
One Boeing aircraft is operated commercially with a German aircraft registration, while the second BBJ2 is operated privately and is registered in Bermuda.
