1964
The Beginnings
Claus Kühl founded a small aviation company with a flight school at the Baden-Baden-Oos airfield. As an authorized Cessna dealer, he also established an aircraft maintenance facility. The company operates 20 to 25 single- and twin-engine aircraft for training, charter, and taxi flights.
1990
Fokus Business Aviation
Flugdienst Kühl GmbH is discontinuing its flight school and will focus its operations exclusively on business aviation using turboprop aircraft. Its operational range will expand significantly.
1992
ACM AIR CHARTER Minninger GmbH
A small business jet is being put into service for the first time. Hannelore Kühl-Minninger and Thomas Minninger are applying for an operating license under the newly established ACM AIR CHARTER Minninger GmbH.
1993
Air Operator Certificate
In April, ACM received a license from the Federal Aviation Authority to operate commercial flights and began operations, initially in partnership with Flugdienst Kühl, using a Cessna Citation V.
1997
Move to Baden-Airpark
The company’s headquarters are moving from Baden-Oos Airfield to Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden Airport. Dr. Andreas Schirmeisen joins as a co-partner and managing director. The company’s name becomes ACM AIR CHARTER Luftfahrtgesellschaft mbH. With the Citation VII, the transition to midsize jets is now complete.
1998
Maintenance & Challenger 604
ACM receives approval for maintenance work and establishes another pillar of its business with the creation of a maintenance department. The first Challenger 604 to receive commercial certification in Germany enters service at ACM, opening up the market for long-haul flights.
1999
Citation X & ACM Handling
The fleet is being expanded to include the first Citation X registered in Europe—the world’s fastest business jet. The ACM Handling division is growing in tandem with the increasing traffic at Baden Airport.
2003
Expansion and Modernization
The expansion and modernization of the ACM buildings will lay the groundwork for increased maintenance, handling, and staffing requirements to support the growing fleet.
2006

The expansion of the ACM apron area by 7,000 square meters will result in increased parking capacity and further improvements in convenience.
2007
Dassault Falcon 2000EX EASy
ACM is taking ownership of a Dassault aircraft for the first time and is expanding its certification for a Falcon 2000EX EASy.
2008
First ultra-long-range jet
The Bombardier Global Express XRS is entering service, enabling nonstop transatlantic flights in both directions.
2009
Second Hangar
Acquisition of the second aircraft hangar at Baden Airport.
2010
Dassault Falcon 7X
Extension of the company’s operating certificate for the first Dassault Falcon 7X commercially registered in Germany—another ultra-long-range jet featuring the latest generation of cockpits.
2011
Eight aircraft
A second Global Express XRS brings the fleet total to eight aircraft.
2012
Bombardier Global 6000
The fleet will be expanded with the addition of a new Bombardier Global 6000, the third ultra-long-range jet.
2014
Boeing Business Jet 2
With the introduction of two new Boeing BBJ2 aircraft, ACM AIR CHARTER has now expanded its presence into the VIP airliner segment.
2016
IS-BAO Certification
ACM AIR CHARTER has renewed its highest-level IS-BAO certification.
2017
Embraer Phenom 300
ACM is taking over the operation of a non-commercial Embraer Phenom 300 (Part-NCC), thereby expanding its fleet once again.
2018
Additional Dassault Falcon 2000EX
Another Dassault Falcon 2000EX is being added to the fleet.
2018
Four Bombardier Global
With the addition of another Global Express, the fleet now consists of a total of four Bombardier Globals.
2021
Global 7500 & the all-Global fleet
Bombardier's latest flagship, the Global 7500, is joining the ACM fleet. As of this year, ACM operates an all-Bombardier Global fleet.
2024
Starlink
ACM AIR CHARTER has successfully integrated Starlink into the aircraft it operates directly and, as an authorized Starlink dealer in Germany, is setting new standards in connectivity.
