On March 5, our partner company, ACM Business Aviation Handling GmbH, successfully obtained IS-BAH Stage 2 certification.
ACM Handling is now one of eight certified business aviation handling companies in Germany that meet this quality standard.
The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) launched the IS-BAH quality standard program in July 2014. IS-BAH stands for International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling and defines an internationally recognized industry standard for handling processes in business aviation. The program is demanding, and participants must undergo regular audits to maintain their IS-BAH certification.
“This award is not only a major competitive advantage for us, especially in the international market, but also very important for our customers. It strengthens our customer-oriented culture and ensures we always provide the best service of the highest quality,” explains Thomas Minninger, CEO of ACM.
After ACM Handling achieved Stage 1 in early 2022—which required the establishment of a standardized SMS infrastructure—Stage 2 ensured that the specified safety standards were successfully implemented and demonstrated.
